Traffic Rider puts you on the seat of a motorbike and sends you weaving through live highway traffic at high speed. The faster and closer you cut past cars, the more points and bonus time you earn. It is free to play in the browser, no download needed, and works at school or work wherever browser games are allowed.

What is Traffic Rider?

Traffic Rider is a first-person motorbike racing game where the road stretches forward and the traffic never stops. You are not racing opponents on a circuit; you are threading through cars on a real highway, racking up points for every near miss. The game has four modes, a fleet of 34 real-sounding bikes, and day/night riding with rain. It started as a mobile app but runs fully in the browser as well.

Steering and throttle controls

Use the arrow keys to handle the bike. Left and right steer, up arrow opens the throttle, and down arrow brakes. On mobile the screen uses tilt or on-screen buttons.

Modes and career missions

Traffic Rider ships with four play modes. Career is the main one, with 90 or more missions that set specific targets like reaching a speed, covering a distance, or surviving a stretch without crashing. The other modes let you ride freely or chase a clock.

Bikes, upgrades, and daily rewards

The garage has 34 motorbikes, each with recorded engine audio so they sound distinct on the road. You earn in-game currency from every run. Spend it on new bikes or on upgrades for the one you already own. Daily play gives bonus currency, so regular riders build up faster. Online leaderboards and 30-plus achievements give you goals beyond the career missions.
